We are truly fortunate to have this photo of early Junction City from high above, and it gives us lots of information as to where many of the buildings that we only have photos of were located. The original photo was made with a large negative, and so we are able to crop in close to see more details. The Fires of Junction City
And you think we have tax problems now? This photo shows the City Hall, which was the volunteer fire department's first home The first floor was the engine room. In the rear was a stable where a good team of horses was kept in readiness at all times. But it didn't happen overnight...
